Fairfield City has an extremely strong transport infrastructure. Businesses which have recently relocated to Fairfield City have cited the transport infrastructure as a major factor in their location choice.

With far-reaching road and rail networks, airport access as well as a concentration transport companies, Fairfield City is in a position to meet your business's transport needs – both in facilitating procurement and distribution, but also providing access to Greater Western Sydney's labour market.

Fairfield City is extremely accessible, with links to most of NSW's major roads. Being close or well connected to the following roads connects Fairfield City with local workers, as well as important regional and interstate destinations.

The Westlink M7/M2 Motorway connects industrial and manufacturing nodes in Sydney's west. It links the M5 with the M2, providing a key national highway through Greater Western Sydney. The M7 has key interchanges at Elizabeth Drive and at The Horsley Drive

The M4 Motorway and Great Western Highway provide a transport corridor for Greater Western Sydney, providing access to Penrith and the Blue Mountains,as well as linking to the Sydney CBD via Parramatta Road.

The Hume Highway is a major road for freight carriers, providing a key link to Southern NSW, Canberra and Melbourne.he M5 Motorway provides direct access to Sydney Airport and Sydney's south coast via the Princes Highway.

Finally, the Cumberland Highway, which also forms part of the national highway, runs right through the centre of Fairfield City connecting it to all of the roads mentioned above. It also links Fairfield City to Sydney's north and the Pacific Highway, which provides access to Queensland, Newcastle and the Hunter, NSW's North Coast and the New England area

The T-Way rapid bus transitway runs through Fairfield City, servicing the periphery of the Smithfield-Wetherill Park Industrial Area. The T-Way provides frequent daily access to Liverpool and Parramatta and links people to major town centres, schools and TAFE colleges. At the same time, the T-Way also eases private transport congestion in Fairfield City.
